Textiles

Welcome to AccessArt: Textiles

Sweet William Fabric by Rachel Parker

‘Textiles’ describes all fibre-based materials, such as thread, yarn and a broad range of fabrics. It’s an exciting discipline that enables learners to create tactile 2D and 3D works. Textile-based projects provide a great opportunity to explore mark-making, texture, form and colour.

All of our resources can be adapted for a variety of age groups and settings.

Whoever you are and whichever audiences you work with, we hope you’ll enjoy exploring the Textiles section of AccessArt.
