This workshop was part of a series of workshops last summer that evolved from several visits to scrapstores and an ‘AccessArt store cupboard’ over-flowing with A Wealth of Materials.

There was also a lot of talk about birds as the AccessArt Share a Bird Project was in its infancy and Paula had just created her first bird out of pages of her recently published book Drawing Projects for Children.

In this workshop teenagers played with sculptural ideas around building form and mass, tension and scale by combining materials.
