Pegged out on the Washing Line: Drawing Clothes and thinking about Texture and Gravity

Children ages 6 to 10 continued their exploration of objects and washing lines. This week we pegged a collection of textured dressing up clothes, and their bag, to a washing line. The washing line was hung low down so that the children, who were working on the floor, could get close up to each item.

The children were invited to make simple drawings of the objects which were then developed during the hour long session.
