Minimalising: Using Simple Line Drawings to Explore Sculptural Form
By Sheila Ceccarelli

Yes – I agree – what was interesting about this session was how out of their comfort zone the students were – they probably had not seen much work from the minimal art movement or even abstract drawings – so for them to be pushed into that process made them uncomfortable. I was amazed by their natural ability and instinct to analyse form in this way. I think they did an outstanding job. I will pass on your comments to students to give them a confidence boost. Many thanks!
