Making Drawings Move
Following on from our School Full of Characters workshop and the Drawing Storyboards with Children workshop, we had great fun this week making drawings move. The children loved the new dimension added to their drawings and there were a lot of giggles as the funny faces emerged!

I’ve been looking online for ideas to make my own split pin/ brads in the event that I can’t find any, or how to address using tiny drawings…. I have not tried it out yet, but the best idea I see so-far is using tiny buttons and wire of some kind. People tend to use small paper clip wire but I know that kids tend to bend those wires over and over and they will eventually break, so maybe just the cheapest wire that will fit into the button holes, hold it a bit, but not break or be too bendy. Using brads for this in the past I have also experimented with needing to glue or duct tape the brads arms down for reinforcement/kid proofing measure. Has anyone tried using wire and buttons for this activity? I have not tried the slide a face drawings, but I quite like that idea!
