Making Modroc Sculpture

By Paula Briggs and Sheila Ceccarelli from AccessArt

During the Festival of Making 2011 we ran a lovely workshop which was part DIY and part sculpture. Handy man Tim Lynn made a guinea pig run with a group of children, and alongside we ran a modroc workshop and invited participants to make pets!

So whilst some children were measuring, drilling, screwing, constructing and working as a team, other children were working more intuitively on their own sculptures.

Modroc is a very flexible material and easy to use. Visit our How to Use Modroc resource to find more detailed instructions.
