Making a Mask from Sticks and Tissue Paper

By Paula Briggs

This simple mask is a great making/sculpture/3-d project for children. It's made from sticks, masking tape and tissue paper and is designed to be held by hand in front of the face. Make them as scary and wild as you like - the mask can be easily adapted to be themed to various times of the year, or used to make masks for performances, assemblies, costumes or puppets.
