Karen Guthrie and Nina Pope

Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie met while studying at Edinburgh College of Art and have collaborated as artists and film-makers since 1995. Their work crosses over many disciplines and  deals with histories and futures, real and imagined, often using improvisational and social tools to generate and distribute their ideas.

Their multi-disciplinary organisation Somewhere produces ambitious public realm projects in diverse media. They have a retrospective of their work at Kettles Yard in Cambridge in Autumn 2014 and have just produced their fourth feature documentary, The Closer We Get.
