Inspired by Google Earth: Drawing

In the AccessArt art club for ages 7, 8 and 9, children used images from Google Earth as inspiration for their drawings. We used two exercises to help the children gather information, and explore drawing materials.

Lovely ideas and approaches here. With my Year 6 class we’ve enjoyed looking at Daily Overview (http://www.overv.eu) which shows a new picture every day culled from Google Maps. Now I have some ideas how to use them!
