Exploring Materials: Paper and Water and Making Paper

This was a highly energetic session with teenagers from AccessArt’s Experimental Drawing Class blending old newspaper and egg boxes in an electric blender to make paper pulp.
The energy in the class was electric (literally charged by the electric mixer whirring in the background!) and students loved the tactile experience of playing with water and paper and making paper.

How wonderful seeing the students really enjoying themselves in a creative play experience where perhaps they could not even imagine the end result! A pleasure to see their energy and delight while they are so focused yet secure and relaxed.
