Drawing and Making: Drawing to Feed Making – Making to Feed Drawing
By Sheila Ceccarelli
Sketchbooks and drawing can be used as tools to develop creative projects, whether making sculpture, designing or painting.
This exercise is to help you develop skills to create ‘visual notes’ and let the drawing process feed the making process and vice versa.

This is so much richer than what they produce at school! its great to see the circular process that art making, drawing and reflecting can (and should!) be. much more inspired way than getting them to be ‘inspired’ by this or that artist- they end up copying and making work that is derivative and rather dead. these images are alive with creativity and inspiration. thanks you!

Lovely isn’t it – there’s something very unforced about the connection between the turner landscapes and the shaped wire – very inspiring!
