Hi, is there a document anywhere with all of the key vocabulary for each year group on one page, rather than spread over the different medium term plan documents? Thanks. I am really impressed with everything that I have seen and I can’t wait for my school to start using this next year. Thanks so much.

Do you choose the materials to teach the lessons or are they stated anywhere which materials to use?

Hi Jenny, each pathway has a list of materials in the teaching notes, for example https://www.accessart.org.uk/spirals/ – you can find them in the left column at the bottom. There is also a more general materials list here https://www.accessart.org.uk/accessart-primary-art-curriculum-materials-list/

Is there any Medium term plans or Vocabulary list for EYFS?

Hi Michael, we don’t have those specifically. The resources for the EYFS curriculum do not follow set pathways or need to be introduced in a particular order, neither is there any need to cover all activities. Instead, they invite you to approach planning in a playful way, by asking yourself which activities you think your children would enjoy, and which would you enjoy facilitating. If you needed a vocab list you could go through each activity and make a simple list. I hope this helps, many thanks- Rachel

Hello
I am a teacher a Specialist setting for early years and ks1. We are a brand new school and I have been given the role of art therapy lead. Please can you advise me on if you have a curriculum to share with me. The children are working at 3-6 months, 6- 12 and 2- 3 years.

Hi Gemma, we have a range of activities suitable for SEND settings in our EYFS and SEND curriculum, which is less of a formal pathway structure and more about areas of exploration. Please take a look at the links and see if any it it could work in your setting. https://www.accessart.org.uk/accessart-eyfs-exploring-art-in-early-years-settings/. The activities are aimed at children from 3 years old so it may not be suitable for your much younger cohort, although you can adapt the activities as you see fit of course. I hope this helps, please feel free to email rachel@accessart.org.uk if you have any more questions. Manny thanks!

Hi,
Do you have a list of the artists covered in each unit please without me going through each one? Many thanks.

Hi Ella, we don’t hold a specific list but all the artists in the curriculum are in the talking points section of the site. Not all the artists listed in the talking points are in the curriculum though, so it would be a case of going through the pathways to make your own list. Here are the talking points anyway in case helpful: https://www.accessart.org.uk/talking-points/
