The Grange Centre for People with Disabilities provides vital services supporting people with learning disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The Creative Arts team at The Grange enables people to explore their creativity, discover their strengths and true potential in different artistic disciplines. This in turn develops fine motor skills, gives social opportunities which increases a feeling of self-worth and a sense of purpose, promoting all aspects of good health and wellbeing. Everyone’s contribution is valued.
Our skilled team of 8 staff, are able to offer a wide range of creative arts from textiles, sculpture, mosaic, printmaking, photography, animation and film, pottery, product design, creative writing and installation art to name a few.
We are keen collaborators and enjoy working in partnership with other artists and providers to inspire our everyday practice.
