Rachel Mercer

Born in Cambridgeshire, Rachel Mercer studied at Cardiff School of Art and Design for her BA and graduated in 2012 before being awarded the postgraduate programme at Royal Drawing School. Since 2014 she has been a practicing artist and art tutor in London. She also co-founded and Mercer Chance Gallery in Hoxton (2014-2018) which exhibited young and emerging figurative artists.

Alongside her own studio practice Rachel teaches life drawing to adults and young artists at the The Royal Drawing School and London Drawing, she is also part-time art teacher for upper years at Hampton Court House School.
