Lala Thorpe

Lala Thorpe is as an Arts professional with over 25 years’ experience working as a Project Manager, Teacher and Producer. Working in the Arts and Education with a wide range of UK and International artists and arts organisations, galleries, arts venues and schools. Lala has been Director of Artescape for the past 15 years. Artescape, is an independent studio-based Saturday arts programme for children, and since 2019 has operated through commissions. 

Lala is currently Head of Learning at Saatchi Gallery, leading and curating school and community workshops and community exhibitions in the Learning Gallery. Working with range of community partnerships striving to widen access to the arts for everyone.
