Wonderful thank you for sharing Emily – I think the addition of the sewing machine really adds to this – I love the way the end results looks so durable because of the acrylic! I can imagine using other durable surfaces as background – possibly ones with their own history – such as plastic bags, polythene from packaging etc…

Yes – I think your ideas about colour are very effective, creating a visual mood. I also very much like the way you allow ideas to flow by randomly collecting words – I think a valuable lessons that clues are around us everywhere to make creativity happen and express ourselves.
