What We’re Working On…

We’re always working hard behind the scenes to create more resources to support our community, and to build connections in the sector. Here is a sample of what we are up to…

Enquiry-based Pathways for Teenagers
After the success of our Primary Art Curriculum, we are busy developing pathways which promote open-ended, enquiry based learning for use with teenagers aged 11 to 16.

The Creation of a New Participatory Space on AccessArt.
We’re working with artist to help us create participatory projects which will appeal to a wide audience, giving focus and purpose to your creative explorations.

A Selection of Online Galleries to Share Work Produced as a Result of Our Resources
It’s time to start celebrating the amazing art being created by you, inspired by AccessArt, so we are creating galleries to share your outcomes.

The Gathering of Evidence to Share Benefits and Outcomes
We hope the evidence we are gathering from schools using our Primary Art Curriculum is going to be a powerful tool to help inform future approaches to art education.

Commissioning of Artists to Illustrate our Core Values
Next year AccessArt will be 25 years old. We are revisiting our core values and will be inviting artists to illustrate our values via a commissioning process.

Creation of New Pathways to Add Further Flexibility to our Primary Art Curriculum
More pathways are being created to allow schools greater adaptability and to ensure learning is relevant for your pupils.
