Session Recording: In The Studio: Drama and Art with David Allen

In this In The Studio session, we are joined by David Allen, Associate Professor in Learning and Teaching at The University of Hertfordshire.

David Allen takes us through his collection of resources, Drama and Art. This 5-part collection demonstrates how drama techniques can support the exploration and understanding of paintings, celebrating the different ways drama and art intersect. David discusses how the two subjects can be taught together to foster creative thinking and communication skills and nurture an awareness and appreciation of art.

This session is suitable for educators working in all settings, including EYFS, Primary and Secondary Schools, Health & Community Care, Home Education, Lifelong Learning and Museum and Gallery Education.
