AccessArt Accessibility Policy

Our aim is that the AccessArt site, and all resources and services within it, will be navigable by visually, hearing or mobility impaired users and, beyond this, that all users (regardless of physical or cognitive disability) can access a richly textured, dynamic and inspirational site. The site will be developed and tested throughout its development to achieve this aim.

At AccessArt we are taking great care to ensure that our site is accessible to as a wide an audience as possible, and to build upon our knowledge and experience of accessibility issues in-house to ensure that accessibility is not an add-on, but a fully integrated, evaluated and intelligent part of our overall design process.

We have established a baseline accessibility protocol, which we will apply to all our pages and resources, created since January 2005. We also intend to focus on identified accessibility issues (such as the Internet as a learning tool for visually impaired children in the visual arts) as part of our future and ongoing resource content creation programme.

If you would like to comment on any aspect of the accessibility of our site and its resources, with respect to actual and experienced accessibility issues please email us. We will endeavour to answer all emails and wherever possible to correct any accessibility errors or oversights.
