AccessArt Participatory Projects

Welcome to the AccessArt Participatory Projects section of our website.

This page shares both internal AccessArt Participatory Projects and external Participatory Projects run by other organisations. These projects are designed to give individuals and communities a sense of shared purpose and creative connection.

Participatory Projects help give audiences a structure that enables personal creativity to be developed. The feeling of being part of a larger project helps us explore the common ground and shared power of the visual arts.

Projects are open to everyone. We will be both launching and sharing new projects over time.

The Things We Hold In Our Hands (2024)

The Things We Hold In Our Hands was a participatory project organised by The Everyday School of Art.

The aim of this project was to act as a mechanism to help inspire you to make, to encourage you to bravely share what you make with others, and to enable you to receive a gift of an artwork made by another person in return.

This participatory project is now closed.
